Turo host update: What's new for hosts: Tools, programs, and updates

By Carlyle. A plain-language summary of an announcement Turo published for hosts on Oct 1, 2026; Turo's own page is linked below.

Turo announced several updates for hosts covering pricing, delivery, discovery, and trip documentation tools, published on October 1, 2026. The changes include a fee structure adjustment and new programs rolling out through the rest of the year.

What it means for a host

Starting October 8, delivery fees and Extras will be calculated using the same take rate as your earnings plan, so hosts on the More Peace of Mind or Balanced plans should check how their take rate changes for new bookings. Trips already booked and any extensions aren't affected. Turo is also introducing Turo Delivered, which lets you set multiple delivery zones with distance-based pricing instead of a single fixed radius and price. On the operations side, an upgraded Turo Camera with offline capture is coming, and later this year guests will scan their license and complete a selfie at check-in, reducing what you need to verify manually at handoff.
