2025 uses the updated 1.5 TSI EA211 evo2 (174 hp, up from 158). FWD gets an 8-speed Aisin automatic; AWD 4Motion uses a 7-speed DSG. The timing BELT is WET (runs in engine oil) - a critical wear item; inspect early and keep oil changes strict. Head gasket revised mid-2023. Engine is fuel-quality sensitive, so ~5k severe-service oil is prudent. Full synthetic VW 508 00, 10k/1yr baseline.
