Beyond the schedule, the first big-ticket item this R1T is known for is Air suspension fault / compressor or air spring failure from about 40,000 miles ($1,800-$4,500). It is a range, not a certainty - but it is the number to have in your head at the dealership.

Operator notes

EV - no engine oil, spark plugs, timing belt/chain, or fuel/emissions service. Scheduled work is tires (7,500 mi rotation), cabin air filter (~2 yr), brake fluid (3 yr, time-based), and a long-interval battery coolant/drive-unit fluid service (~112,500 mi). Regenerative braking greatly extends friction-brake life. Truck-specific stresses: towing and payload accelerate tire, suspension and air-ride wear.
