Timing CHAIN. Base 2.0L Nu MPI (147 hp) with IVT (a CVT, not a conventional automatic - service fluid on schedule); GT uses 1.6L T-GDI + 7-speed DCT. Normal oil 7,500 / severe 3,750. Replaced by K4 for 2025 (final Forte year 2024).
