Final model year was 2009 (H2 discontinued after 2009). 2008-2009 use the 6.2L L92 Vortec V8 (393 hp) with a 6L80 6-speed automatic; 2003-2007 used the 6.0L V8 with a 4-speed (4L65-E). Timing is a chain, not a belt, so no belt-replacement interval. GM used the oil-life monitor, so oil intervals stretch to ~5,000-7,500 mi on synthetic, but heavy/off-road/towing duty (typical for this vehicle) pushes it toward the severe-service schedule: 5,000-mi oil, 30,000-mi transmission/differential/transfer-case service, more frequent chassis lube.
