ServiceIntervalSource
Engine oil and filter

Shorten to 5,000 miles in severe conditions; essential for preserving turbocharger journal bearings.

10,000 mi / 1 yearIndependent
Engine air filter

Prevents silica scoring of cylinder walls.

30,000 miIndependent
Cabin air filter

Failure to replace strains the HVAC blower motor resistor pack.

20,000 miIndependent
Tire rotation

Critical on RS models to ensure identical rolling circumference to protect the rear drive unit.

10,000 mi / 1 yearIndependent
Brake fluid

Prevents internal corrosion of ABS pump modulators due to fluid hygroscopy.

30,000 miIndependent
Engine coolant

Mitigates scale buildup in the narrow cooling passages of the EcoBoost cylinder heads.

100,000 miIndependent
Transmission fluid

Interval is optimistic; severe duty applications demand earlier replacement to prevent thermal breakdown.

150,000 miIndependent
Spark plugs

Widened gaps cause high-RPM misfires and strain ignition coil packs.

100,000 miIndependent
Timing belt (1.0L)

Timing belt (1.0L wet belt architecture). Chains on 2.0L/2.3L are maintenance-free.

100,000 miIndependent
Serpentine belt

Inspected starting at 100k; replace when EPDM rib separation is noted.

Inspect, replace as neededIndependent
Differential and transfer case fluid (2.3L AWD)

Essential for the torque-vectoring rear drive unit on the RS to prevent clutch pack incineration.

90,000 miIndependent

Intervals are for normal driving; towing, short trips, extreme heat or dust shorten them. Services we could not find an interval for are left off rather than guessed.
