All-new third-generation for 2025 with a 1.5L turbo (GDI, timing CHAIN); FWD pairs it with a CVT and AWD with an 8-speed automatic. Important caveat: the notorious excessive-oil-consumption/timing-chain failures belong to the 2010-2017 2.4L Ecotec and do NOT apply to the 2025 engine. Long-term data on the new platform is still limited.
