How it works
From no idea to the right deal
You bring the budget. Carlyle brings the numbers and the leverage. No dealership until you're ready.
Step 1
Tell Carlyle what you need - in plain English
Start a chat the way you would text a friend: "my car died and I know nothing about cars" works fine. Carlyle asks the questions that matter - budget, commute, how far you would travel - and tells you when it is assuming something, so you can change it. You never need to know which trim levels exist.
Step 2
Get a ranked shortlist from live dealer inventory
Carlyle searches actual dealer listings near you - not stale aggregator data - and ranks every car by a value model that weighs price against the useful miles it realistically has left. Each listing gets a plain-English rating and an estimated out-the-door total, because the sticker is never what you pay.
Step 3
See the negotiation ammo
For any car on your list, Carlyle pulls the same spec listed cheaper at dealers further away, with the savings spelled out. Bring it in: "the same car is listed for $996 less 90 minutes from here." Dealers match prices they can verify - leverage no first-time buyer normally has.
Step 4
Optional: let a human close the deal
If you would rather not haggle at all, hand it off. For a flat $250, a Carlyle negotiator contacts the dealer, works the price using the comparable-listing data, and reports back within 24 hours. You only talk to the dealer to sign and drive.
Step 5
Or wait for the right car to appear
Not ready to buy? Set an inventory alert with your criteria. Carlyle scans dealer inventory daily and emails you when new matches show up - $1 per vehicle found, with today’s inventory as a free baseline.
Where the listings come from
Carlyle queries live franchise and independent dealer inventory across the US, refreshed continuously. We don't take dealer advertising, we don't sell your contact info as a lead, and a dealer can't pay to rank higher. If a car ranks first, it is because the numbers say it is the best value on your list.

Built by Johnathon, an All-Star Turo host who buys cars for a living - Carlyle runs the same ROI math he uses on his own fleet.
